Skeleflower Amigurumi in a Mini Painted Flower Pot

A spooky twist on a classic flower. I call this my skeleflower. It comes out of the pot (although I don’t recommend removing it - the stem is crocheted around a double layer of 18? gauge wire, but is still quite fragile if bent too much). It is customizable in different colors and the skull is option. Actually, I can make this back into a traditional sunflower with a traditional pot, if that is what you wish! A valentine’s flower with a heart and heart petals? A christmas flower? You tell me! The possibilities are quite endless here.

I freehanded the petals. The flower and base were inspired by a pattern from J.H. Winter at InkAndStitchesArt. The skull applique is a pattern from bymami.
